Prayer Service for Peace that Flows from Love

To mark the observance of September 11, NCEA has prepared a “Prayer Service for Peace that Flows from Love.”  The focus of the service it to remember those who died and to reflect on Jesus’ call to love others. Three reflection options for different age groups are included in the prayer service.

As we mark 11 years since the events in 2001, we note that for most students, 9/11 is an historical event.  They do not personally recall it – or may not have been born yet.  Older teens, however, do remember.  A bookmark with reflection questions may be distributed before or after the service. Additionally, a PowerPoint presentation is available for to help guide the prayer service.
