NCEA Announces 10 Honorees for the NCEA 2023 Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Awards

Outstanding leaders in Catholic school education to be honored on April 10, 2023, at the NCEA 2023 Convention in Dallas/Irving, TX.

Arlington, VA – The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) happily announces 10 recipients of the 2023 Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Awards (LLP). The LLP Awards highlight the outstanding work of Catholic school educators in communities across the country. Catholic school leaders, teachers, principals and presidents, pastors, diocesan superintendents, school boards and home school associations are among the troupe of exceptional awardees entrusted with the faith formation in our communities of Catholic school education.

“Catholic schools excel because excellent people give it their all to love them into being,” said Lincoln Snyder, NCEA President/CEO. “We are humbled by the Christian witness this year’s honorees offer to their Catholic school communities.”

NCEA will recognize the 10 honorees of the 2023 Lead. Learn. Proclaim. Awards at the NCEA 2023 Convention at an awards dinner that will take place on Monday, April 10, at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, TX.

The 2023 awardees being honored are: Very Reverend Michael J. Alello, Laura J. Brickson, M.S.Ed., Maria Campbell, Sister Camille Anne Campbell, O.Carm, Sister Karl Ann Homberg, SSJ, Jennifer Kuzdzal, Jenifer Spinale, Nathan Stant, Paula Wekenborg and Joshua Zeringue, M.A.

NCEA's 2023 Convention is the largest private-education association gathering in the nation. The annual convention draws thousands of participants from Catholic school communities including elementary and secondary school teachers and principals, religious education programs as well as diocesan offices, church pastors, superintendents, school boards. The convention is a forum to exchange ideas, hear about current research and data related to Catholic school education and learn about new technology and resources from NCEA partners, sponsors and exhibitors.
