NCEA Welcomes Dr. Josh Packard as Vice President of Strategy

Josh Packard, Ph.D., is a mission-driven executive helping organizations build winning cultures.

Leesburg, VA – The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) is overjoyed to announce that Dr. Josh Packard is joining NCEA's leadership team as the new vice president of strategy to help support in the execution of the NCEA 2023 Strategic Plan. The VP of Strategy reports to the president/CEO and is part of the senior leadership team.

“Josh is deeply committed to the mission of Catholic education and the health and success of our students,” said NCEA President/CEO Lincoln Snyder. “It is truly a blessing to have him on the team.”

Josh comes to NCEA with more than 15 years of experience as a professor, researcher and executive focusing on changing forms of religious expression in America. He is the foremost expert in the spiritual lives of modern American youth and an accomplished researcher in the sociology of religion and new forms of religious expression. He has authored numerous books and articles in both popular and academic outlets including Church Refugees: Sociologists reveal why people are DONE with church but not their faith and Stuck: Why Clergy Are Alienated from Their Calling, Congregation, and Career...and What to Do about It.
