
The NCEA NSBECS Advisory Council (NNAC) collaborates on the advancement and ongoing development of the National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools (NSBECS) to promote a secure and strong future for Catholic elementary and secondary schools.

The NNAC serves as an advisory body to the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), reporting to the NCEA Chief Leadership and Program Officer (or person appointed by such), to advance NSBECS by sustaining core knowledge and providing leadership for advocacy, communication, development of resources, and promotion of research.
The NNAC members – principals, superintendents, and university partners – are proud to continue the legacy of the primary authors of the NSBECS, Lorraine Ozar, Ph.D. and Patricia Weitzel-O'Neill, Ph.D., who will continue to serve the NNAC as legacy members.
